Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 September 2026
These terms govern use of the GA4 data quality diagnostic service (the "Service") provided by AnalyticScan (the "Company"), and set out the rights and obligations of the Company and the user.
1. Definitions
"User" means anyone who accepts these terms and uses the Service. "Free scan" means the thirty-check review of a GA4 property the user names, returning a health score and a verdict per check. "Full report" means the paid deliverable that explains the cause, the business impact and the fix for each finding, reviewed by a consultant before delivery.
2. Publication and amendment
The Company publishes these terms where they can be read from the Service. The Company may amend them within the limits of applicable law, stating the effective date and the reason, announced at least 7 days in advance — 30 days where the change is unfavourable to users. A user who does not accept an amendment may terminate their use of the Service.
3. What the Service does
Using the Google Analytics read permission (analytics.readonly) the user grants, the Company reads one GA4 property the user names and produces verdicts and a score against thirty predefined checks. The free scan returns the score and the per-check verdicts; the full report is delivered after payment. The Company does not create, modify or delete anything in Google Analytics, and does not request permission to do so.
4. Formation of the agreement
The agreement is formed when the user accepts these terms and signs in with a Google account. Users must not let a third party use their account and are responsible for loss arising from failure to keep it secure.
5. User obligations
Users may request a scan only for GA4 properties they are properly authorised to access. Scanning a property or third-party data without authorisation, reverse-engineering the Service, placing excessive load on it through automated tools, and reselling deliverables without the Company's consent are all prohibited.
6. Fees and payment
The full report costs KRW 1,900 per scan, inclusive of VAT. Payment is taken through the external payment platform the Company designates (Groble); the Company does not itself collect or store card or other payment credentials. Fees may change with prior notice, and orders already paid for are honoured at the previous price.
7. Delivery
Once payment is confirmed and the user has granted read access to the property being scanned, the automated report becomes available immediately. The consultant-reviewed priority plan and the 15-minute review call are delivered within one business day of that access being confirmed. Where the user does not grant access, or withdraws it, the Company cannot deliver and is not responsible for the resulting delay.
8. Cancellation and refunds
A user may cancel and receive a full refund at any time before the automated report has been opened. Once it has been opened, delivery of the digital content is treated as having begun under Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and cancellation is restricted. This does not apply where the Company failed to deliver, or where the deliverable differs materially from what these terms describe: in those cases the Company refunds regardless of whether the report was opened. Refund requests go to support@analyticscan.com.
9. Changes to and suspension of the Service
The Company may change the Service and announces material changes in advance. Provision may be suspended for maintenance, for Google API outages or policy changes, or for force majeure. The Company is not liable for suspensions outside its control, but refunds the fee where one prevents delivery of a deliverable already paid for.
10. Limits of liability
Scan results and reports are reference material to support the user's decisions. The diagnosis is based on the data the Google Analytics APIs expose, so settings the APIs do not expose are outside its scope and are flagged as such in the report. The user retains final judgement and responsibility for any change made to Google Analytics or to their website on the basis of a report.
11. Intellectual property
Intellectual property in the Service, the diagnostic methodology, and the checklist and its scoring belongs to the Company. Users may use the report delivered to them freely for their own business purposes, but may not resell or distribute it to third parties without the Company's prior consent.
12. Personal data
The Company handles personal data and data received from Google in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Limited Use requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
